WILMINGTON – NOVEMBER 27, 2022 – The Delaware Blue Coats (3-5), NBA G League Affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, dropped a Sunday matinee to the Maine Celtics (7-1), 132-123, at Chase Fieldhouse.

Mac McClung led the Blue Coats with 26 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Patrick McCaw dropped 21 points including four trifectas, and Skylar Mays added 20.

Maine devised a balanced attack, with eight players scoring in double figures. Mfiondu Kabengele and Denzel Valentine paved the way with 17 points apiece. The Celtics led by as many as 30, but Delaware outscored their opponent 76-62 after the halftime break.

Delaware’s homestand continues Tuesday in a rematch against Maine at 7:00 p.m., followed by a visit from Raptors 905 Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Both games will air nationally on ESPN+ and locally on DETV 28. Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM will have the radio call.
