Tonight, the Delaware Blue Coats will host Game 2 of the NBA G League Finals against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The game comes just two days after the Coats fell to the Vipers on Tuesday in Game 1, 145-128

Now, they are in a “win or go home” scenario, as the best-of-three series and their season will come to an end if they cannot get the W.

On Tuesday, the Coats were outperformed on the boards, but in the absence of Charlie Brown Jr. and Charles Bassey, two of the Coats’ most productive rebounders this season, Patrick McCaw was able to grab nine rebounds while also scoring 24 points.

The Coats will look to tighten up on the defensive end in Thursday night's game, as the Vipers got through the lane with ease in Game 1 en route to a 145-point explosion. 2021-22 Kia NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year Shaquille Harrison and Jaden Springer will be the two players largely responsible for preventing the dangerous Rio Grande Valley backcourt from causing too much damage. Harrison registered three steals and two blocks in Game 1, while also scoring 21 of the team's 128 total points.

The Delaware Blue Coats look to continue their 2021-22 campaign and force a deciding Game 3. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. tonight and can be watched on ESPNews and listened to on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS FM.
