Blue Coats Beat the Swarm 111-105

WILMINGTON – NOVEMBER 25 – The Delaware Blue Coats (3-4) won Friday night at Chase Fieldhouse by a score of 111-105 over the Greensboro Swarm (2-7). Mac McClung scored a team-high 24 points while Justin Smith and Skyler Mays each scored 22 points for Delaware.
Mays scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half including 5-7 from downtown after the break. Mays finished with a team-high 7 assists and also pulled down 6 rebounds.
All five Blue Coats starters scored in double figures, with Patrick McCaw and Charlie Brown, Jr. notching 14 and 17 points, respectively.
The Coats withstood a three-point barrage by Greensboro. Xavier Sneed and Jalen Crutcher went a combined 15-26 from beyond the arch. Crutcher netted a game-high 35 and Sneed poured in 28.
Delaware dominated the paint, scored 52 points inside to Greensboro’s 34.
