WILMINGTON - OCT. 24, 2026 - The Delaware Blue Coats selected Jason Thirdkill Jr. and TJ Clark in the 2026 NBA G League Draft on Saturday. It’s the first time the Blue Coats have added two players from the same NBA G League Draft since 2021.

The Coats selected Thirdkill Jr. 29th overall out of Jacksonville University. The 6’7’’ forward averaged 8 PPG and 5.3 RPG in his senior season with a pair of double-doubles. His 27 blocks and 0.84 BPG both ranked 6th in the Atlantic Sun Conference last season.

The Detroit, Michigan native played for 4 different college programs, including William Jewell College in 2024-25, when he earned Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Defensive Team honors. He also played stints at Lamar University and Paul Quinn College.

The 22-year-old is the first Blue Coat to be selected in the 1st Round of the NBA G League Draft since 2023, when the Coats picked Anthony Nelson 24th overall. His great-uncle David Thirdkill was selected 15th overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 1982 NBA Draft.

The Blue Coats selected Clark, the Covington, Georgia native, in the second round (51st overall). The 6’3'’ guard makes his way to Wilmington with NBA G League experience, playing in the 2023-24 season with the Texas Legends and Ontario Clippers (now the San Diego Clippers). He averaged 3.4 PPG across 20 games in his lone NBA G League season.

Prior to his time in the G League, Clark suited up in Overtime Elite in 2022-23, where he averaged 9.5 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 2.3 SPG. Nationally, he was a member of the 2025 USA 3x3 U23 Men’s National Team. He also most recently played professionally in Mexico with Rayos de Hermosillo, where he averaged 10.2 PPG and 4.4 RPG.
