Springer, Ponds Lead Coats Win Over Charge Tuesday Night

The Delaware Blue Coats (17-6) picked up another win on Tuesday night as they defeated the Cleveland Charge (4-19) 130-112 in their first of three road games this week. With the W, the Blue Coats expand their winning streak to five and claim sole ownership of first place in the Eastern Conference.

Delaware started the game strong, outscoring the Charge 38-20 in the first quarter, a lead that Cleveland was never able to overcome.

On the defensive end of the ball, the Blue Coats dominated, besting their opponent in steals (17-4), blocked shots (7-5), and forced turnovers (24-7).
