Blue Coats Take Two in Fort Wayne, Beat Mad Ants for Second Time This Week

In their second game of a midseason back-to-back series, the Delaware Blue Coats (9-4) took down the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (5-9) 134-121 on Thursday.

The team started hot with an 18-8 run in the first six minutes of the game before Fort Wayne rallied back and went into halftime with a 61-50 lead.
Led by Braxton Key, a 13-0 run midway through the third quarter gave the Blue Coats a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Delaware's impressive offensive performance continued, as they finished the frame with 42-point quarter, and then posted another 42 in the fourth.
The victorious Blue Coats got offensive production from all across the board, as seven of their nine active players put up double-digit scoring days. Braxton Key led the team in both points scored (22) and blocked shots (4).

Braxton Key
- Key led the Blue Coats in scoring on the day, putting up 22 points in 26 minutes. He also blocked 4 shots and grabbed 11 rebounds. This is his fourth straight game in which he has put up double-digit figures for both rebounds and points. He scored 19 and 10 in Tuesday's win.
Shaquille Harrison
- Harrison was the team’s second leading scorer, with 21 points and made 4-5 of his three-point attempts. He also registered 11 assists, further cementing his role as Delaware’s main offensive facilitator.
Demarcus Holland
- Holland contributed off the bench on Thursday by going 4-5 from the field for 8 points. Playing a big role on the defensive side of the ball, he also registered 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.
