The game was a tight affair throughout most of the four quarters. Both teams put up strong scoring performances in the first half, with the Coats taking a 74-69 lead into halftime. Though the game was tied up at five different points during the first two frames, Delaware would not relinquish the lead after the start of the third.

The Coats started the second half by going on a 19-7 run. Despite the Nets' best efforts to make a spirited late-game comeback, the damage had already been done. The Coats' home victory, ties the regular season series between the two teams at one a piece.
