The Delaware Blue Coats (9-5) welcome the Windy City Bulls (7-10) to their home arena in the Chase Fieldhouse on Thursday night, and enter the game with nearly five full days of rest. Most recently, the Coats fell short to the Raptors 905 in a 104-109 loss on Saturday, while the Bulls will take the court fresh off a win against the Wisconsin Herd 111-101 on Tuesday.

The Bulls come into Delaware with some offensive momentum, shooting 51% from behind the arc in their last outing, and with seven players recording double-digit scoring performances. in their last outing. Though they'll surely be looking to do much of the same in Delaware, the Blue Coats rank as the second-best team in the league for steals per game, tied with the Austin Spurs at 10.6. The Coats also rank second for the league average in blocks, registering more than 6 per contest.

The key matchup of the day will be a battle of the two starting point guards, as Shaquille Harrison was Delaware's leading scorer (24 points) against the 905, and the visiting Devon Dotson is coming off of a career game on both ends of the ball, as he registered 22 points, 8 assists, and 7 steals in the win against the Herd. Fans can expect a lot of back-and-forth action between the two efficient shooters and versatile defenders.

Delaware still holds a head-to-head victory over the Bulls on the 2021-22 regular season. On January 9, the Blue Coats won convincingly against the Bulls 123-85 in their first matchup of the year.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on Thursday night, and coverage of the game will be on ESPN+.
